They can do this by having an Australian designed BMS that can both charge and discharge at a rate that allows it to be used for all three applications and C3 cylindrical cells made to purpose by DCS Engineering. Their charge rate as stated below, is very quick, meaning on the drive to work or by idling the engine at camp for an hour or so, your battery system will be simply and easily fully charged. No DCDC required - will charge straight off the alternator. You can also add a solar input and it will simply charge your battery faster. If this battery is installed in a caravan, a long distance away from the alternator charge source, then it is recommended that a DCDC charger be used to account for the significant voltage drop. The battery also has a separate Australian designed Active Cell Balancing electronic board - not passive as in all other lithium batteries - giving a longer overall life to the battery. This battery is made up of Cylindrical Cells - like Tesla - rather than prismatic as in most lithium batteries sold today. Can easily run a 2500w inverter of this battery or add a second and run 5000w inverter. Outer case is powder coated alloy, lugs are industrial and bolted on, not simply resin set, has dual positive and negative connectors to make connecting multiple loads easier and simpler, and you can purchase an anodised steel battery holder separately.
